ABOUT FOUR & TWENTY BLACKBIRDS

Four and Twenty Blackbirds is a wonderful store filled with great gifts, special furniture, unique treasures and beautiful local art.

Lynn and Rainy both moved to Colorado from Keene, New Hampshire to be closer to their Colorado-loving children!  While living in New Hampshire, Lynn owned a gift store called “Pocketful of Rye”, and Rainy worked with her for six years there.  After moving to Windsor, and spending a year without a store, Lynn decided to open one here in Windsor.   Rainy joined her in creating Four and Twenty Blackbirds. 

The name comes from the nursery rhyme, “Sing a Song of Sixpense”.  It is the line that follows “Pocketful of Rye”.. It just seemed right!

The store is a labor of love for both Lynn and Rainy.

They Love Colorado, Love living in Windsor and Love working in the store.  They are grateful for the opportunity to serve Windsor and the surrounding areas with beautiful products and great customer service.
